Brand Identity



Brand Overview

For this project I was tasked with creating an identity for the travel company Venture Vista. This company that specialized in fast and easy three day travel wanted a bold and impactful identity. One of the core tasks of this project was creating a typographic map based on a location. For this project I chose to base my map off New York, where I then tried to include hints of into my designs.Besides creating the map, the project was also tasked with creating a logo, brochures, and marketing for the client as well. While crafting these essential identities for the brand I made sure that it was cohesive and well thought out as to why this was the best choice for the brand. In the end the project is a complete bundle of the start of the brand’s identity as Venture Vista.

 Behind the Process 

With a focus on a bold and strong company I decided to in- corporate that into the logo design. Using the V from Venture Vista, I tilted it and multiplied it by three to symbolize the fast and easy three day travel. This logo can be a standalone or with the text logo included.


The Process



Here is a compilation of rough drafts and process work that led me to my finalized version of Venture Vista’s brand identity.




Typographic Map





For these posters, I was tasked with creating a visually appealing typographic poster that contains a three day itinerary around New York City. When creating this poster I wanted to insert some graphic elements as well, Such as the colorful dots that are pinpoints to exact locations on a New York map. Paying a tribute to the transit system I chose Helvetica as my main font and Bitcount as a secondary font. Since this is meant to be portable this was made on a 11x17 art board and I ensured the text was legible still with so much text being in the design. Although this was made for the intention of being a map and guide for those on their three day vacation, It was also made in mind that it may be kept and possibly be displayed as a memory from their trip taken with Venture Vista.
