Brand Identity



Brand Overview

For this project I was tasked to create a not only a autobiography book cover but a seamless system for Chapters and Stories. As a company that has a focus on sharing personal stories and involvement in the community they want to be more than just a bookstore. By wanting an approachable identity I had to be mindful about each design choice I made for them. Besides creating the book cover, I was also tasked with creating a logo, posters, and marketing for the client as well. While crafting these essential identities for the brand I made sure that it was cohesive and well thought out as to why this was the best choice for the brand. In the end the project is a complete bundle of the start of the brand’s identity.

Book Sleeve




These set of three book cover jackets were based off a personal story each student wanted to share that was meaningful to them. My cover was focused on my cancer journey and how it shaped who I am today. The specific cancer I had was blood related so I decided to make a strong point with a bright red cover to capture readers. My three covers have items that were important to me or hold meaning to my journey.

Bookstore Assets


While making promotional items for the brand I decided to see how far I can take the branding to packaging. I decided to focus on making items essential to the bookstore which would be the uniform (shirt), employee badge, bags, cafe set, and promotional signage for outside the store. When creating these items I decided to give them a bookworm mascot to accompany with the brands image. By adding this bookworm it helped create a friendly and welcoming vibe that they were looking for.
